Kim Mi-Hyun loses again in playoff

Kim Mi-Hyun was chasing the ball after her tee-shot at the third hole in the playoff of the Kathy Ireland Championship and lost again on the verge of her first victory of the season.

Kim, dubbed Super Peanut, lost to Rosie Jones of the United States in the first playoff hole and finished as runner-up. In the final fourth round at the Onion Creek Club in Austin, Texas, Kim shot five birdies and one bogey for 4-under 66 for a total 12-under 268, sharing the lead with Jones. In the first playoff hole at 18th, Kim parred, while Rosie birdied and took the trophy.

In the LPGA Office Depot Championships on Apr. 16, Kim lost to Annika Sorenstam in a sudden death playoff.
