2002 World Cup mascots given names

The names of the official mascots of the 2002 World Cup to be co-hosted by Korea and Japan were announced as Ato (yellow), Nik (blue) and Kaz (violet), in a ceremony held in Seoul Thursday, 400 days head of the gala opening of the world soccer extravaganza.
