Ceremony held to honor Buddhist leader

A Buddhist mass is observed Friday to celebrate the restoration of the house where the late Buddhist leader Sung Chul was born and the construction of Temple Kopoe in Mukkok-ri, South Kyongsang Province. A six-meter high bronze statue of the Buddhist monk, produced by sculptor Kang Dae-Chul, was unveiled during the mass.
