[Announcement] Dong-a Seoul Int`l Marathon to be held Sunday

The 2001 Dong-a Seoul International Marathon will be held at 10 a.m. this Sunday on a 42.195km course crisscrossing the city between Kwanghwamun and Chamsil Olympic Main Stadium.

Although traffic blockades will be set up, The Dong-a Ilbo and the Korea Amateur Track and Field Association, joint sponsors of the event, will do their utmost to minimize inconvenience to motorists. After a set time limit on runners has expired, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency will automatically lift traffic bans on the marathon course.

We sincerely ask for the understanding and cooperation of local citizens as we seek to boost Korea`s profile as a power in the marathon.
