Sales of Park Hyo-Shin`s album `In the Distance` top 200,000 copies

Singer Park Hyo-Shin`s ``In the Distance,`` the title song from his second album, was chosen by the Radio Song Development Consultative Council as the ``song of the month`` for March.

``In the Distance`` was taken from the soulful, 20-year-old singer`s second album, which has already sold 200,000 copies since its release at the end of January. Park`s first release racked up sales of 500,000 copies in the 12 months after it hit store shelves.

As part of efforts to promote the new record, Park began to appear on TV variety shows like ``Lee So-Ra`s Propose`` early this month. He will hold a concert at the Seoul KyoYuk MunHwa HoeKwan in Yangjae-dong, southern Seoul on Mar. 13-15.
