North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il will make an official visit to Moscow early next year, according to Russia¡¯s Interfax Information Service, which cited a source in the Russian Foreign Affairs information network.

Kim apparently has canceled next month`s scheduled visit to the Far East Russian maritime territory, Primorski Krai.

A Primorski Krai official revealed that North Korea had sent a communique August 28 thanking the governor of Primorski Krai, Yevgeny Nazdratendo, for his invitation. However, the communique did not contain an official acceptance but only that the North`s leader was scheduled to visit Moscow early next year.
