The game is almost over. What remains to be seen is how many more home runs he will hit.

Lee Seung-Yop, the apparent homer king, is speeding up, as Lee on Aug. 9 in Pusan hit the first pitch by Kim Young-Soo, the starting pitcher of the Lotte Giants, over the fence in the fifth inning with a 4-3 lead. The shot was two-run homer estimated at 105 meters.

Kim, who won by shutting out the Samsung Lions in Taegu for the first time after his debut, pitched a high slider clocked at 137 kph, and people knew it was a homer as soon as Lee hit the ball.

It also was a valuable home run in that it helped the Lions expand a one-point lead.
