Daewoo Motor`s popular minivan, "Rezzo," has made its debut in the West European market.

Daewoo announced Sunday that it shipped 1,500 Rezzos on July 29 from Kunsan Port, which will be sold in West European countries such as the UK, Spain, Italy and Switzerland.

Daewoo plans to export a total of 20,000 units of the minivan by the end of this year by shipping it to France and Benelux beginning in mid-August, and to Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America starting in September. Around 17,000 Rezzos will be sold in West European markets.

The Rezzo model targeting West Europe is equipped with 2.0 DOHC and 1.8 SOHC gasoline engines, and will be sold in the region under the brand name of `Tacuma,` which means `joyful life` in African.
