Korea’s side offense Kwon Chang-hoon has continued showing impressive performance in Dijon. After kicking the first goal in the tryout match with Northern Island on last Sunday (Northern Island beat Korea 1-2), Kwon once again scored a goal in the league match for Dijon.
Kwon curled in an equalizer for Dijon with quarter of an hour remaining in a home ground league (first league) with Olympique de Marseille on Sunday in Dijon, France. Kwon, who was on the replace list, came off the bench on 27 minutes of the second half, and levelled within a minute by hooking home a volley from Oussama Haddadi’s cross from the left.
“Kwon Chang-hoon delighted fans with a superb volley immediately after coming off the bench. He impressively reshaped the course of the game,” said the official website of Dijon FCO.
This is his seventh league goal, 49 days after a match with Nice on March 11. A European football statistics website whoscored.com gave Kwon the score of 7.3, which is the highest in his team. Despite Kwon’s contribution, Dijon lost the game 1-3 after the back line fell apart and conceded two goals.
