Korean girl group Twice have become the first female artists to win a triple crown on Japan’s annual Oricon charts. Superstars BTS ranked the highest among K-pop groups in this year’s single rankings.

According to the 50th Oricon Top 10 Singles and Top 10 Albums announced Saturday, Twice ranked first in sales, single with the first single “One More Time” in Japan and album rankings with their album #Twice. EXO was the first male artists to win a triple crown two years ago.

Twice have recorded 1.54 billion yen (around 14.67 billion won) in sales including single, album, DVD, blue-ray and other music software for six months since their debut in Japan. Their single album One More Time has been sold more than 239,000 while their #Twice album added another 256,000 in sales.

Twice will appear on NHK’s Kōhaku Uta Gassen, one of Japan’s popular year-end music festivals, on December 31, for the first time in six years for Korean singers.
