Quentin Tarantino, the 51-year-old director of “Pulp Fiction,” and “Kill Bill,” said that he plans to call it quits after making his 10th film.

The BBC quoted the movie director as saying at American Film Market (AFM) in Santa Monica on Monday, "I don`t believe you should stay onstage until people are begging you to get off. I`ve got two more to go after this." He participated at the film event to promote "The Hateful Eight," his eighth movie.

Tarantino said that directing was “a young man`s game,” adding that he intended to spend the remainder of his career "writing plays and books". He said in an interview in 2003 that he did not want to become an old director and retire before he turns 60.
