A pastor and a theological graduate student arrested for sexual crime

"That guy is suspicious!"

It was around 9 a.m. on May 29 at Sadang Station on Subway Line 2. A police officer working undercover to prevent subway crime noticed a man. The man was pacing around gazing at women shrewdly during the rush hour. When he got on a subway train, the policeman secretly followed. As expected, the man attached his body to the back of a woman in her 20s and began touching and rubbing his genital organ against the buttocks of the woman. The 37-year-old caught in the act was a pastor. And the pastor was also videotaping inside a miniskirt of another woman with his cellphone on the other hand.

A 28-year-old graduate student of a theological college was arrested by a report of a victim for videotaping the legs of women on escalators at the transfer section of Daerim Station of Line number 7. The Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office said Thursday that the two men were indicted without detention for the violation of the Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes.
