"Sarijangeomgu (sarira and its container)" in the three-story pagoda of Bulguk Temple, better known as "Seokgatap (National Treasure No. 21)," in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, has been displayed to the public in 47 years. The repair task force team under the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage dismantled the stone lid over sarigong, sarira hole (41×19 centimeters), on the second level of the pagoda and displayed to the public Sarijangeomgu stored in the container. The relics were put into storage again after repair work on the pagoda in 1966.
