Machines to reduce food waste

Seoul’s Yangcheon-gu district will install and operate on a trial basis large machines to reduce food waste for five months from Monday, ahead of a ban on the disposal of food waste in the ocean to take effect next year. On Monday morning, residents discard food in one of the machines installed at Mokdong Apartment Complex.
