At the parliamentary special committee on investigation of the savings bank scandal where the Financial Services Commission gave a briefing, Rep. Chung Doo-un of the Grand National Party, who chairs the committee (right), bows Wednesday to excuse himself for delays in the meeting proceedings to Rep. Lim Young-ho of the minor conservative Liberty Forward Party and Rep. Kim Jeong of the Coalition for Future and Hope. The delay was due to a dispute between the ruling party and the main opposition Democratic Party over the selection of witnesses for the hearing.
