World No. 1`s Devastating Serve

The world`s top-ranked men`s tennis player Rafael Nadal has advanced to the semifinals of the U.S. Open. The Spaniard crushed compatriot and world No. 8 Fernando Verdasco in straight sets Thursday in the quarterfinals at Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York. Nadal has won three of the four Grand Slam titles except the U.S. Open, but has reached the semifinals in the U.S. Open for the third consecutive year.
