Tennis star Maria Sharapova (right), ranked 14th in the world, committed 77 unforced errors yesterday in losing to fellow Russian Maria Kirilenko (above left), 7-6, 3-6, 6-4 in the first round of the Australian Open in Melbourne. Sharapova, who lost in the first round of a major competition for the first time in seven years, and Kirilenko showed different facial expressions.
