Fire at Fridge Plant

A fire broke out Tuesday at a refrigerator factory of Daewoo Electronics in Incheon around 2:25 a.m. The blaze raged for three hours and burned a warehouse containing finished goods and two other facilities. Some 13,000 refrigerators, cabinets and freezers were burned, causing property damage estimated at 3.3 billion won (2.84 million U.S. dollars). No casualties were reported, however.
