Strife at Ssangyong Motor

Ssangyong Motor’s union yesterday protests the carmaker’s other employees who held a rally to normalize operations in front of the back gate of headquarters in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. The carmaker is unlikely to peacefully resolve the standoff between management and labor since its union has rejected deferment of layoffs in return for an end to a strike.
