Slow Reconstruction in Sichuan Province

A resident of Beichuan County in China`s Sichuan province piles up remnants of what used to be his house that collapsed in a deadly earthquake May 12. Though the Chinese government has focused on restructuring affected areas in the six months after the disaster, residents of certain affected areas have complained of slow progress due to insufficient state support.
