With a week to go before the opening ceremony of the Beijing Summer Olympics, part of the Korean national team arrives at Beijing Capital Airport yesterday. Members pledged to achieve good results. The team comprises 389 people, including 122 staff, with 65 arriving yesterday. They include Korean Olympics Committee Chairman Lee Yeon-taek (third from left in the front), national team chief Kim Jung-haeng (fifth from left in the front), general director Lee Elisa (left in the front) and athletes in gymnastics, weightlifting, cycling and rowing. The rest of the team will arrive in Beijing according to their individual competition schedules. Korea aims to win 10 gold medals and finish in the top 10 in medal count.
