Pouring Perfume on the Buddha

To mark Buddha’s Birthday Monday, people at Jogye Temple in Seoul pour perfume on a Buddha statue yesterday. The ritual symbolizes the praising of Buddhist virtues and cleansing the mundane world of dirt.
