As heavy snow alert has been issued yesterday on the day of Daehan, meaning intense cold, a resident of an apartment complex in Taebaek City in Gangwon Province wipes off snow on his car. The snowfall in the city recorded 65.1 centimeters as of 6 p.m. on Jan. 21.
