Workers of Korea Electric Power Corp. remove yesterday electrical poles at the Daebul Industrial Estate in South Jeolla Province away from the sidewalk to the stream. The work took five hours with the help of heavy machinery. Contrary to its usual unwillingness to conduct this sort of operation on a rainy day, the state-run company sped up work in light of President-elect Lee Myung-baks criticism of the poles as an example of red tape hindering business and investment.
