First Sales of U.S. Beef

One day prior to the recommencement of U.S. beef sales, one of the Lotte Mart stores in downtown Seoul gives customers a chance to sample U.S. beef. This is the first time that U.S. beef has appeared in a large retail chain since the resumption of U.S. beef imports. Lotte Mart plans to sell a total of 40 tons of U.S. beef - 10 tons of chilled meet and 30 tons of frozen meet - in its 53 stores nationwide, starting from July 13.
