Saturn was eaten a bit?

On March 1, NASA disclosed a mysterious and majestic image of Saturn and its rings taken by the Cassini spacecraft on February 4. NASA explained that the Cassini has beamed back to Earth never-before-seen angles of Saturn from high above. It was launched in 1997 and its $3.3 billion maintenance cost is shared between NASA and EU space agencies.
