Meal Service

Yesterday, two days before the winter solstice festival, senior citizens are waiting in line for complimentary red bean porridge, traditional food for the festival day, at a Yongdusan Park in Busan. Yesterday’s free meal service was offered to 350 low-income elderly by the Korean National Red Cross and Busan office of Samsung Electronics and Mechanics Corporation. The shadows of the old with no place to turn to but sunlight are long in this cold winter.
