For the first time in her five-year pro career, Yoon Ji-won (Hyundai Department Store) embraced a tournament trophy. On November 26, Yoon won the KLPGA ADT Caps Championship held at Sky Hill Jeju Country Club (par 72) located in Seogwipo City, Jeju Province.

In the third and final round, Yoon struggled to a 2-over-par 74, but her competitors crumbled along with her. Her overall score for the three rounds was 3-under 213. Meanwhile, Shin Ji-ai (Hi-Mart), who has aimed for having her fourth season win as well as exceeding 400 million won in prize money, ended up sixth (even-par 216) as she failed to reduce her strokes, offsetting her three birdies with three bogies.

However, Shin swept all of the titles available to her, including the prize money winner, player of the year, rookie of the year, and leader in wins. Shin, whose annual average number of strokes was 69.72 this year, also became the first player in the history of KLPGA to have such a record under 70.
