“Piggy Bank of Happiness” and “Charity Rice”

With the year-end and the New Year coming, corporations are extending helping hands to needy people. KT purchased 1,500 bags of rice from an affiliated farming village and handed them out to senior citizens who live alone and social welfare organizations (right). The SK Group gave 170 million won, which its employees collected in “Piggy Bank of Happiness,” to Deaf Korea and Korea Federation of Organizations of the Disabled. The money will be spent on purchasing video phones for the hearing-impaired.
