New 5,000 won notes

The new 5000 won currency packed by 100 papers was unveiled at the Gyeongsan Mint of the Korea Mint Corporation in Gyeongsan-si, Gyeongbuk yesterday for the first time. The new currency, whose size has become smaller and whose design has changed, will be circulated starting next January 2.
