Tourism to Gaesong Begins

The tourist road to Gaesong opened for the first time ever since the division of the two Koreas. On the morning of August 26, a bus with 500 tourists aboard headed for Gaesong after being given a send-off of by Hyundai Asan employees. Starting at 6:00 a.m. in Gyeongbok Palace, Seoul, the tourist group visited downtown Gaesong, historic sites and the Gaesong Industrial Complex and came back to the South around 6:00 p.m.
