On July 22, a variety of summer hats that can keep the midsummer heat in check were displayed at the Gangnam branch of the Shinsegae Department Store in Banpo 1-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul. Customers were picking out well-ventilated summer hats, such as raffia fiber hats made from the leaves of African raffia palm trees.
