Expedition Team to Return Home on May 12

Park Young-seok’s North Pole expedition team (Park, the director of Goldwin Korea and the Dong-guk University Alpine Club OB) has returned to its base camp.

The four members of the North Pole expedition team (sponsored by the Park Yeong-seok World Expedition Association at Dong-guk University, The North Face, NCsoft, LG Insurance, Dong-a Ilbo, and SBS), consisting of expedition leader Park, an alpine grand slam achiever, Hong Seong-taek (39, Korea Logic Speed Reading Institute), Oh Hee-jun (35, Seogwipo Yeongcheon Alpine Team), and Jeong Chan-il (25, Yongin University, class of 2005), successfully returned to their base camp at Resolute Bay (74 degrees, 43 minutes north), located in Canada’s far north on May 5 at 7:20 a.m. (local time: May 4, 5:20 p.m.). The team will pass through Toronto and Vancouver, and is scheduled to return home to Korea on May 12.
