White Day Rose Demand Prompts Price Hike

The price of roses has jumped 30 percent before White Day. At a joint flower market in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, the price for the Sha Sha breed of rose (left, front row) is 7,500 won for a bundle of ten flowers, while an equal amount of Vital roses (center, front row) fetches 9,000 won.
