“Bargain Sale on Gift Sets of Fortune”

Lotte Department Store held a bargain sale event for “Lunar New Year gift sets of fortune.” Lotte’s main branches of Jamshil, Yeoungdeungpo, and Busan sold 2,005 of the gift sets at 30,000 to 50,000 won for goods such as handbags, dining tables, beds, ties, or gift cards. Customers chose gift sets without knowing their contents. Although gift set prices had been cut 40 to 90 percent off their regular price, some customers who failed to get what they had expected expressed complaints.
