Contrasting Scenes of the General Strike

The Korean Government Employees Union announced that it embarked on a general strike yesterday, but the participation rate showed stark contrasts among the regions. The contrasting scenes between the civil affairs office of Nam-gu district in Ulsan (left), empty because government employees did not come to work, and that of Jongro-gu in Seoul, where public servants showed up as usual.
