No Court Hearing

Lee Seok-yeon, a lawyer who is defending a petition case that questions the constitutionality of the capital relocation law, said yesterday, “Since testimony and factual evidence are not that important in this case, and with lawful judgment playing a critical role, we decided not to request a court hearing.”

Since the government maintains that if the plaintiff does not request a court hearing, it would not do so, and the case will very likely be judged by documentary examination without a court hearing.
