“We Offer 70 Percent Discounts for Your Third Child”

Department stores have set out to do their part in promoting increased childbirth. With declining birth rates becoming a social issue, the main branch of Lotte Department Store in Sogong-dong, Seoul hosted a special sales event on August 30, offering 50~90 percent discounts on beddings sets to customers who have more than two children. The event will continue through September 1.
