Manage Registry Service through the Internet

Posted August. 16, 2004 21:57,

The Supreme Court of Korea (SCK) announced on August 16 that it will open an internet registry office (http://registry.scourt.go.kr) on September 5 and provide a formal service from September 19 after a week of model service.

The internet registry office is an additional site of a registry service site separate from the SCK homepage. It offers not only established services, such as a perusal of real estate and corporate register books and an issue of an attested copy from the real estate register book, but also an issue of an attested copy from the corporate register book.

The service is available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

The homepage is accessible by entering the English address in the internet address box or entering “registry office” or “internet registry office” in Korean. It is also possible to access the site via the SCK homepage.

The SCK expects one can get registry-related service at home or in the office without visiting an actual registry office if the internet registry office is operating in full scale.
