Muddy Han River Raining throughout the Country Again Today

With continuing torrential downpour and discharge at the upper-stream Han River dams, the Han River has turned muddy on July 15. Cars are crawling on the Olympic Highway, and the scene reminds one of a huge parking lot. July 16 will also likely see nationwide rainfall under the influence of the seasonal rain front, and some areas will have localized torrential downpour. The central region will have 20 to 60 mm of rain with some areas having more than 100 mm according to the Korea Meteorological Administration.
