The Old, “We Want to Work”

At the “2004 Silver Job Exhibition” held at Coex in Seoul on June 17, a long queue of the elderly looking for job openings was formed. At this exhibition, 390 companies provided approximately 6,000 job openings. Though the Seoul municipal government has increased the public job openings for the sake of the old, the hardships of finding jobs are the same to the young and old alike.
