Two Stars of North and South Meet

On May 26, the first North-South general level military talks were held in North Korea`s east coast Keumkangsan Recreation Center, near the Demilitarized Zone. They failed to reach an agreement on measures concerning the possible naval clashes between the two Koreas. The two representatives, South Korean chief delegate, Commodore Park Jung-hwa (left), and North Korean Army Major General Ahn Ik-san, are shaking hands before the talks.
