The Seoul District Prosecutor’s Office investigating the bribery scandal over the construction of the shopping mall “Goodmorning City” said that it has not found any evidence that other politicians and government officials were lobbied with bribes into providing favors to the shopping mall company in addition to the chairman of the Millennium Democratic Party Chyung Dae-cheol. An insider in the prosecution said that no evidence or statement was secured in relation to the media’s suspicion that a number of politicians received bribes from the CEO of Goodmorning City Yun Chang-yeol for providing him with special treatments in his business.

The insider stressed that anybody with allegations would be subject to the prosecution`s investigation based on law and principle.

Meanwhile, the prosecution decided to assign more personnel for the investigation of the bribery scandal over the shopping mall construction.
