South Korean World Cup star Lee Chun-soo is likely to move over to PSV Eindhoven, a Dutch pro soccer team.
Skycom, which acts as agent of Lee, announced yesterday, "Eindhoven offered to hire Lee at least for half a million salary." Skycom president Noh Jae-ho, who just came back from Netherlands, confirmed, "The salary could increase depending on the ownership of the right to commercial use of Lee`s figure."
The remaining problem is the "trading money." Skycom proposed for one and a half million dollars. But Eindhoven requested it be lowered. Thus, Skycom has to negotiate with Woolsan again, the current team of Lee, for the amount. Now, former South Korean national soccer coach Guus Hiddink leads Eindhoven. If Lee goes over, he will join other two former World Cup stars such as Lee Young-pyo and Park Ji-sung.
