Korean tennis players reached the 2nd round of Major Game for the first time together.

In the 1st round of woman’s singles of Australia Open (total prize money of USD 10,610,000) which is the first Grand Slam Tennis Game held in Melbourne , Australia on January 14. 64th place in the world ranking, Cho Yun-jeong won the game with Eva Deerberg (104th place in the world ranking) by a score of 2-0(6-3,6-3).

Besides, Lee Hyeong-taek will compete with Andre Agassi of the second ranking in the second round on January 15. He cheered the game of Cho Yun-jeong after one-hour warming up. The game of Lee Hyeong-taek and Andre Agassi will be played as the third match in Road Lavor Arena in the noon (Korean time). KBS1TV plans to broadcast this game.
