LG Sakers and Dongyang Orions jointly placed themselves on top of the 2002-2003 Anycall Pro Basketball League, which has passed its returning point.

Yesterday, the fourth round started. Each team began to pitch in its best. LG got a 109-97 victory over Korea Tender in Chongwon, extending its winning streak. From the beginning of the game, LG employed a fast offense against the same strategy of Korea Tender. With a series of successful three pointers like Cho Sung-won (34 pts. & 6 3-point shots), Cho Woo-hyun (17 pts. & 4) and Kang Dong-hee (16 pts. & 4), LG took the initiative over its opponent.

Korea Tender almost caught up with LG, narrowing the gap by 4 points (or 95-91). When it was 3 minutes to the end of the fourth quarter, however, Cho Sung-won made two successful three-point shots, brushing Korea Tender off behind. Cho did 34 points, making his season highest record, while Black made the 4th triple double of this season with 16 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. Hiks of Dongyang made the rest of the three triple doubles.

To begin with, Korea Tender sustained a big loss. Its star player, Hwang Jin-won could not play with his left ankle badly sprained. In addition, its best shooter did not perform well in the early quarters.

In the Daegoo game, with Kim Seung-hyun "off duty" for his finger injury, Dongyang`s backup Park Ji-hyun successfully took his place and beat SBS Stars 85-78. After Kim`s was put on the absentee list, his team has won 4 games in a row.

Rookie Park Ji-hyun recorded 9 assists and 13 points with only one error. Dongyang`s Hiks got dismissed with 2 technical fouls. But Kim Byung-chul led his team with 33 points.

TG won KCC 88-72 in an away game. TG turned the game around in the third quarter. Then, in the fourth, TG allowed only 9 points, but scored 24.

In Chomsil, Mobis beat SK Knights 108-99 in the extended-period game. SK made a humiliating record. It did not score any in the five-minute extended period. In the past, the minimum points made in the extended were three. SK Bigs won over Samsung 82-75, and broke its three-game losing streak.
