Hur Jae- Is he 37 Years Old Really?

‘The 9th grade of Basketball’ Her jae(37) contributed to TG Xers to be at the solely.

At 17th, in the game between TG Xers and Samsung Thunders of 2002-2003 Anycall Professional Basketball at Chamsil Indoor Sports center, TG defeated Samsung by 92-78 and recorded three consecutive wins. So TG recorded 8 wins and 3 defeats, and jumped up to top ranking list.

The victory of TG at that day was due almost to Hur jae, the oldest player in Professional Basketball. In the previous day, Hur jae played 30 minutes in the game against LG. So he did not play at the early of the game to save stamina and began to play from the second quarters for 30 minutes fully with records of 16 points and 5 rebounds.

The third quarter, decisive quarter of the game, was Hur jae`s quarter. He succeeded 2 shots of three points and records 9 points, the most points both of the teams in the quarter. He dashed under ring and caught 3 rebounds. With Hur jae`s one man show, TG consolidated win by 64-57.

‘Lucky Boy’, Foreign player of TG, David Jackson showed excellent play with records of 32 points (5 of three points shots).

Even if wounded foot, Seo Jang-hoon did his best with 25 points. However, Ju Hee-jung was limited play because of fault trouble and was exiled after 11 seconds of the beginning of the 4th quarter by 5 faults, and Samsung lost the game.

KCC that had lost 9 consecutive games since the opening game at 26th of October, defeated Dongyang Orions by 84-79 in Daegu.

The heio of victory was Chun Hee-chuk. He recorded 27 points with 6 of three point shots. Dongyang tried to chase KCC with Kim Seung-hyun` dash by 3 points behind 58 seconds before the final buzz of the last quarter, but it failed to reverse the game. Dongyang recorded 3 consecutive defeats.

Mobis Automons recorded reversal victory against SK Knights by 87-80 at home game in Ulsan. Woo Ji-won 22 points, Chun Hyung-soo 20 points, foreign player Dennis Edwards (14 points), Victor (9 points) injected liveliness to the team. The game between LG Shakers and SBS Stars in Changwon, Terrence Black recorded 33 points, and LG won the game by 99-85. Kang Dong-hee recorded 11 assists with role of super assistant.
