Defection of Eleven MDP lawmakers

Eleven opponents of Roh Moo-hyun, the presidential candidate of the Millennium Democratic Party, are holding a press conference and announcing their defection from the MDP. Reps Choi Myung-hun, Chang Tae-wan and Park Sang hee, who have been elected through the national constituency, are also attending the press conference and urging the party leadership to expel them.
