2 lines of Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) are to be installed at major nationwide hotels and lodging facilities for free use during the World Cup. Ministry of Information and Communication and KT (former Korea Telecom) announced on the 16th that ADSL connections are to be provided free at World Cup accommodations for the Internet use of tourists.
KT has finished selecting 214 hotels near the 10 host-cities and 3000 accommodations, which were chosen by local institutions, and is in the process of installation.
Each accommodation is to provide free ADSL services to guests from this month to mid-July.
