Posted May. 04, 2002 09:02,

Rep. Rhee In-Jae expressed his intention to support Kim Jong-Pil, president of the United Liberal Democrats at the local government election on June 13th.

Responding to a reporters` question, “would you help JP during the local government election?” Rhee said, “Of course, I will.”

However, he did not make a clear response to the question, “How would you help him?”

To the question, “what do you think about the report that president Kim J.P. and Rep. Rhee have similar ideas.” JP responded, “I heard there is one more…..,” hinting his plan for a `tripartite coalition` including Rep. Park Keun-Hye (Independent).

Previously, Chung Jin-Seok, spokesperson of ULD, expressed a positive position at an interview with a Buddhist Broadcasting Co., saying “president Kim J.P. and Rep. Rhee is pursuing the same ideological idea and share the same interest in many areas of the actual politics.”
